In the early days funding was made available by five local businesses who each recognised the importance of strong family relationships in the fabric of New Zealand life. Each business contributed $30k which enabled the seed capital to get underway. With its innovative formula and fresh approach to parenting, Parents Inc. brands reach more than 215,000 people per annum. From those early beginnings of Ian and Mary’s we have now grown to a team of 70 people, operating across the spectrum of Parents Inc. programming. In addition to our staff we also have approximately 600 people around New Zealand trained as facilitators of our Toolbox programme. Our programming has expanded to include a full range of Hot Tips seminars, Corporate seminars, No Sweat parenting events, Toolbox parenting groups, Attitude programmes for high schools and Parenting Magazine. |
